Due to the weather, all afterschool activities and events are canceled. Visibility is reduced, so please be extra careful if you are driving to pick up your child after school. Likewise, buses are likely to be traveling slower than usual - your patience is much appreciated.

We join with others all across the nation to celebrate Public Schools Week! Our schools, staff, families, community, and Board of Education all work together to benefit our students. We've come a long way since the establishment of the first public school in what would become the United States - the Boston Latin School in 1635 (still operating today, in a different building). #PSW23 #HornetPride

By now, you have likely heard about the events that unfolded overnight on Michigan State's East Lansing campus. As you, our students, and those around our state grapple with such a senseless act of violence over the course of today and the days to come, you may find this resource from the National Association of School Psychologists helpful: https://www.nasponline.org/resources-and-publications/resources-and-podcasts/school-safety-and-crisis/school-violence-resources/talking-to-children-about-violence-tips-for-parents-and-teachers.  If you know a staff member, student, family, or alumni who has been personally impacted, please let us know. We will do everything we can to support them.
